Patrick Holcroft
Lieutenant Colonel Patrick Holcroft is the Lord Lieutenant of Worcestershire, that is the British monarch's personal representative in the county. He served nearly two decades in the Grenadier Guards before pursuing a career in the City of London. He became a Deputy Lieutenant of Worcestershire in 2009 and was appointed to his present position on 28 December 2012.〔(Number 10 website Accessed 20 September 2013 )〕
His charitable commitments include being a trustee or adviser to the Nuffield Trust for the Forces of the Crown; the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst; the Lloyd's Patriotic Fund, which supports armed forces charities; and the Hedley Foundation, which supports young people, the disabled and the terminally ill. He lives near Tenbury Wells.
